I grew up in a small farm town where my dad was a farmer and my mom a social worker. Like many families, we worked hard just to get by. What opened doors for me was a strong public school system - amazing teachers and early access to technology sparked a love of computers that changed my life.  It also allowed me the opportunity to be the first in my family to graduate college.

I built a career in technology and business, starting my own consulting firm, then serving as CIO and VP for companies in healthcare and manufacturing - helping grow two organizations into America’s fastest-growing private companies. In 2023, I launched my own firm dedicated to helping businesses craft smart technology strategies, build strong IT teams, and implement solutions that fuel long-term success.

 

My wife and I moved to Lee’s Summit in 2006 for its schools and community, and we’ve raised our three sons here in District 33. We love working our small acreage, enjoying nearby lakes, and cheering on the Chiefs and Royals.

 

 

I’m also active in our community as a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce, and a local Catholic men’s group.
